History

Regency Christian Worship Center was officially launched in April, 1994. Pastor Michael and Ann led a small Bible study in the home of one of the founding members as they explored the possibilities of starting a church. God’s leading was profound as steps of faith were taken to give birth to what is now, Regency Christian Worship Center. 
Over the years, our church developed into a family that is deeply devoted to each other and to sharing the love we have found in Christ with our community.

Pastor Michael Elliott










Born in Lubbock, Texas in 1951, Pastor Elliott was raised as a Southern Baptist and deeply values his heritage which instilled in him a passion for God’s Word. Entering the ministry at age 17, he has a vast experience in most areas of church leadership. At the age of 21, Pastor Elliott received the Baptism of Jesus in the Holy Spirit and neither his life nor his ministry would ever be the same again. Over the years he has served as a youth pastor, music pastor, associate pastor, evangelist, senior pastor, and along with his wife Ann, he has planted two new churches.  The Elliotts are the founders and directors of Touching Africa Ministries.

Pastor Elliott both preaches and teaches the Word of God as the umpire and final authority on every matter in life. It is his desire to bring every area of the church, its structure, and its expression of ministry, in line with the patterns and principles set forth in the Scriptures so that God will bless the churches efforts in ministry. As a pastor, he encourages every member of the church to embrace the precepts and principles of God’s Word as the pattern by which they live out their Christianity so that they can enjoy the reward of their diligent pursuit of God. Pastor Elliott’s passion is to present the Word of God in terms that are practically lived out in everyday life.

Pastor Elliott and his wife Ann have three married daughters and six grandchildren. Ann serves the church as an administrative pastor and is a gifted leader of worship. Two of their daughters also serve on their ministry team; one works with church outreach and the other, with the children. Their son-in-laws are involved as well, serving the ministry in various capacities. Pastor Elliott and his wife Ann, enjoy a unique ministry expression as a team. They often sing duets and lead worship together. In recent years, their ministry has taken them to China, Russia, Israel and Ethiopia.  Pastor Elliott and Ann are often guest hosts on the Day Star Television Network in the local station here in Denver.
